A very forgiving, sweet horse who was pushed to his limit by a previous owner. Because of the stress and back pain he was experiencing, Grant would lock up his head/mind, then his body would follow and he would fall over backwards. Along with obvious wear and tear on his body, Grant’s tail had been broken in 5 places. But amazingly, being in a new and caring place, with the right people, Grant has come a long way to recovery. He is beginning to trust humans again.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the tragic death of Julie & Jays’ horses, Kia and Khola. The anguish they must feel over such a great loss, breaks our hearts. We wish them peace, and the strength to move forward with the hope of one day being able to, again, share the love and compassion they shared with Kia and Khola. RIP sweet ones.
