RIP our Sweet Jiggs. You Are Missed!

Jiggs departed us on Friday May 10, he was 36+ years of age. It was the first beautiful weekend of the season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jiggs is a 36 year old Quarter Horse Gelding. Yep, 36.
He was a rescue because his owner could no longer care for this special needs horse.
Jiggs’ has very few, if any, front teeth.
Jiggs was fed along with the other horses, but because of his teeth and his sweet demeanor he was not getting the food he
needed – special feed or any feed.
Jiggs was relinquished to HAPI Trails and because we could separate him from other horses and provided with a little extra attention, within 4 weeks he looked (and felt) amazing.

Jiggs is maintaining his weight, his coat and his spunk.
He is 100% broke, healthy and fun, but at 36 would probably prefer to just be a companion or kids horse.
